let's eat it !

Today is my son's tenth birthday.
My son has many friends and my house is small,
so we had twice birthday parties on last Saturday and Sunday.
I baked many cookies and cakes on the weekend.
On Saturday I baked a strawberry shortcake.
On Sunday I baked a banana chocolate cake.
It was difficult to bake the sponge cake.
I whipped cream in a chilled ball.
It was fun.

I bought an English-Japanese dictionary.
I had used a portable electronic dictionary before.
There is a lot of information in the new dictionary than the electronic dictionary.

I have been taking an English extension course at Sophia University since 2004.
It was first day of the new term yesterday.
On the previous night, I worked till midnight.
I was too sleepy to concentrate on the lesson.
I will have to study harder next class.

The blog 「うちの食卓　Non solo italiano」is very popular in Japan.
A Japanese woman who is living in Italy writes this blog.
The pictures she took are very beautiful.
Her first book was published last week.The book introduces many recipes of north Italy.
Those recipes are so simple that even I can make it.
I made two kind of past from the book.

I went cherry blossom viewing with my brother family at Sankeien.
Sankeien is a traditional and typical Japanese-style garden.
The garden is crowded in this season, so we went to by one car.
Five people(I,my son,my brother,his wife,his son)
(me, my son, my brother, his wife, and their son) got into one car,
it was a pleasant drive.

The parking lot of the garden gets crowded during the cherry bloosom season,
so we went by one car instead of two.

It was very cold, but we could enjoy cherry blossom viewing.Sankeien

I live in the third floor of an apartment.
I often sit out on the veranda and have a cup of tea from spring to autumn.
The cherry blossoms are very beautiful now.
Yesterday moring, I baked scones and steped out onto the veranda with scones.
But it was cold so I came back into my room.
The scones which I bake are always delicious.
I think that I am a genious, haha.

I'm very tired.
Today I was interviewed for a magazine.
Five people(an editor, a photographer, the assistant, two designers)came to my small studio.
I was tense very much and commented on new software.
I hope my commentaries were useful for them.

I went to a concert hall on business two days ago.
The work was very hard.
I haven't been in the best of health after the work.
I think I have caught.

I went to the Tokyo National Museum at Ueno.
I wanted to watch see 'the Annunciation' by Leonardo da Vinci for the whole.
The special exhibition The Mind of Leonardo

I expected long line.
The museum was crowded with many people.
I had to wait in line for more 20 minutes.
I walked into the room full of people.
It was hard to belive, we were not able to stop in front of the picture 'the Annunciation'.
we have to watch look at the picture while walking.
only 1 minute.
A few guards shouted,
' please don't stop, please don't push, please walk , go ahead !'
'Please don't stop, please don't push, please walk, go ahead!'
Their voice were very noisy, and I was not able to concentrate on the picture.
1 minute was very short.
This is so insulting.

Today, I bought a new camera Nikon D40.
This is very light.
Web site of Nikon taught me how to use this camera.
Some operation methods of D40 are defferent from D70,D2X.
I have to get the feel of the new camera.
